| Short Description of the Institution: 'Studija' is visual arts magazine published bimonthly in Riga (Latvia). Studija's initial aim is to reflect art events in Baltic region and create a critical platform for discussions about contemporary art processes. Alongside with art reviews and art market analysis, each issue offers interviews with world famous curators and artists, as well as touches upon various theoretical problems and evaluates the most significant world art events. The magazine is bilingual (Latvian/English). Since 2009 its editor-in-chief is artist Liga Marcinkevica from the group of artists 'Famous Five' or 'F5'. Her approach brings a great deal of freshness into the magazine.
