Short Description of the Institution: Founded in 1948, thanks to the efforts of the poet's daughter and the first director of the museum Eva Hovhanisyan. The museum is located in the paternal house of the poet preserved in its almost original shape. Functions as a branch of E. Charentz Literature and Art museum. The halls of the museum (study, bedroom, dining room, guest room) and the reserves contain close to 700 items related to the life, the research and the literary and pedagogical work of H. Hovhanisyan. On display are also the publications of his works, photographs, personal belongings, manuscripts, studies dedicated to his work, paintings, etc. There is a bust of the poet in a garden adjacent to the house (sculptor G.
